Meta presents smart augmented reality AR glasses

Meta has announced the release of new smart augmented reality (AR) glasses that promise to provide users with the "best of both worlds". The announcement was made on their blog during the tenth anniversary celebration of Reality Labs, a division of Meta.

These AR Meta glasses are supposed to combine the benefits of Ray-Ban Meta smart glasses and the mixed reality offered by their predecessors, such as Oculus Quest 3. They will provide users with access to useful and entertaining Meta AI features, allowing them to interact with the physical world and digital content.

Despite this announcement, the company did not provide specific release dates for AR Meta glasses. Nevertheless, some sources indicate that the realisation of these devices could take place by 2025, with an official presentation during the upcoming Meta Connect conference.
