120Hz OLED display, Tensor G3 chip, 64 MP dual camera and 4,500 mAh battery: insider reveals details about Google Pixel 8a

The main specifications and price of Google's new smartphone have appeared on the Internet.

We are talking about the model Pixel 8a. Information about the novelty was shared by insider @heyitsyogesh. The gadget will come with a 6.1-inch OLED screen. The panel will get FHD+ resolution and 120Hz refresh rate.

The Pixel 8a should be powered by the Tensor G3 processor. The same chip is installed in the Pixel 8 and Pixel 8 Pro. The novelty will be equipped with a 4,500 mAh battery with 27W charging, dual 64 MP main camera (with OIS) + 13 MP (wide-angle) and 13 MP front camera. The gadget will hit the market in two memory variants: 128 GB and 256 GB. The smartphone will run out of the box on Android 14 operating system.

Price & When We Can Expect It

The Pixel 8a is expected to be released in May at the Google I/O 2024 conference. The gadget will be priced between $500 and $550.
