Samsung Galaxy A52 5G will now be updated less frequently
In light of recent developments, Samsung has made a final decision to reduce the frequency of updates for the Galaxy A52 5G model. Updates will now be released every quarter instead of monthly.
Here's What We Know
Samsung usually provides updates within four years of a device's release, but they become less frequent in the fourth year, especially for A-series devices. Samsung recently updated the list of devices for monthly and quarterly updates, where it moved the Galaxy A52 5G to the second list. Thus, the Galaxy A52 5G will now only be updated every quarter.
However, it's worth noting that the Galaxy A52 4G and A52s models continue to receive monthly updates. The Galaxy A52s wasn't released until August 2021, so it's not expected to move to quarterly updates until after the summer.
The situation with the Galaxy A52 4G is more complicated as this phone was released at the same time as the A52 5G. It's possible that the update policy changes for these two models will be implemented at different times. The Galaxy A52 4G is also expected to move to quarterly updates in the coming months.
