Rumour: Microsoft to hold Xbox Games Showcase on 9th June

Microsoft has announced that Xbox Games Showcase will return in June, although it did not provide the exact date, rumours about it are already circulating online.

According to Tom Warren from The Verge, the event is scheduled for Sunday 9 June. Warren assumes that Gears 6 and this year's Call of Duty game, which is rumoured to be called Call of Duty: Black Ops Gulf War, will be presented at the exhibition.

In addition, rumours have recently surfaced about the next instalment of Gears of War, which is expected to be unveiled this summer. The leaks also hint at a fully open world campaign in the Gulf War for the upcoming Call of Duty instalment.

Also during the presentation, updates on previously announced games from top-notch developers such as Indiana Jones and the Great Circle, Avowed, and Microsoft Flight Simulator 2024 are expected. The release of these games is scheduled for the end of this year.
