The latest version of Samsung's My Files app (15.0.04.5) has revealed a hidden feature that allows users to irrevocably delete files with a single tap.

Here's What We Know

This feature is located in a hidden menu called MyFiles Labs. Once this feature is activated, an additional item appears in the context menu when deleting files. If you select this option, the file will be permanently deleted from your phone and you won't have to go to the Recycle Bin section to permanently delete it.

To activate MyFiles Labs, open the My Files app on your Galaxy device, go to Settings, then select About My Files app and tap the My Files text repeatedly until a dialogue box appears with the message "MyFiles Labs is enabled". Once enabled, you can go back to Settings - MyFiles Labs and enable the Irrevocable Delete Options switch.

This feature is only available in version 15.0.04.5 of the My Files app. If you have an outdated version of the app, then update it via Galaxy Store.
