A new take on a classic game: The Rogue Prince of Persia from developers Dead Cells is officially unveiled
At the indie developer show Triple-i Initiative, Evil Empire studio, known for its long-running and hugely successful support of the Ubisoft-backed roguelike game Dead Cells, officially announced The Rogue Prince of Persia.
Here's What We Know
The Rogue Prince of Persia is a 2D action-platformer with roguelike elements, which, in fact, will be a new look at the very first part of Prince of Persia 1989 by Jordan Mechner.
Gamers will get a colourful and dynamic game with complex battles, intricate locations, various enemies, lots of platforming and acrobatic opportunities, and all this is similar to Dead Cells, but with its own unique atmosphere.
When We Can Expect It
The Rogue Prince of Persia will be released on the 14th of May on Steam Early Access. The developers promise to actively develop the game taking into account the wishes and comments of gamers.
