Battlefield 2042 developers have unveiled a plan for updates to the online shooter over the next three months

A few days ago Electronic Arts announced that the seventh season of Battlefield 2042 will be the last, but fans of the online shooter will not be left without new content.

Here's What We Know

The developers published a plan of the nearest updates, which covers the period until June:

• April 16 will start a temporary event Crimson Front, dedicated to holding the defence of occupied positions;
• 30 April will start battles on the redesigned map Stadium;
• Patch 7.2 will be released in mid-May, introducing new items, including the DFR Strife battle rifle;
• in May-June the next temporary event Future Strike will start.

As a reminder, a coalition of several studios has been formed to develop the next instalment of Battlefield: EA Motive, Criterion, DICE and Ripple Effect.
