Norway is going to transfer F-16 Fighting Falcon fighters to the Ukrainian Air Force.

Here's What We Know

The information was shared by the publication Nettavisen. We are talking about 22 aircraft. Of these, 12 will be in working condition, and the rest can be used as donors. In addition to fighters, Norway also plans to send Ukraine engines and simulators for pilots. There is no information yet on when the delivery of the aircrafts will start. Most likely, the armament should not be expected before the NATO summit, which will be held in July.

By the way, Ukraine should receive about 65 F-16 Fighting Falcon from its partners. The first planes may become in service with the Ukrainian army in late spring or early summer.
