Red Hook Studios has announced an update for Darkest Dungeon 2, which will add a new mode to the game - Dubbed Kingdoms
Developer Red Hook Studios has announced a free update for Darkest Dungeons 2, which is due out this year, and which will add a new mode - Dubbed Kingdoms. This is a separate campaign and, as the developer describes it, it is "a race against time to find and defeat a terrifying threat before it overwhelms and destroys the Kingdom".
Here's What We Know
In the campaign, players will travel through the gruelling lands, fighting off attackers and defending safe inns with three new enemy factions along the way: The Coven, Beastmen and Crimson Courtiers. Resources can be used to build your own inns or improve the characteristics and skills of your heroes.
Red Hook Studios claims that it is not necessary to complete the campaign of the Kingdom campaign to play the base game.
Where To Play
Darkest Dungeon is available on Windows only.
