Rockstar Games has increased the price of GTA+ subscription. The price increase ranged from 33 to 40 per cent depending on the region
At the end of March, Rockstar Games gave GTA+ subscribers free access to the cult western Red Dead Redemption and its Undead Nightmare add-on, and promised to add two more games to the subscription by the end of 2024 - the stylish detective L.A. Noire and the action game Bully about the difficult life of a school bully. And all this will be provided in addition to numerous bonuses in GTA Online.
Probably, it was the expansion of the catalogue that gave Rockstar the reason to increase the subscription price.
Here's What We Know
The company is raising GTA+ rates from $5.99/€5.99/£4.99 to $7.99/€7.99/£6.99, a 33% increase in the US and Europe and 40% in the UK.
As a reminder, the GTA+ service is only available to PlayStation 5 and Xbox Series console users. It is likely that over time, Rockstar will add its other games to the subscription to make the service more attractive to users.
