OPPO A1s: new smartphone with diamond anti-drop structure and 12GB RAM
Chinese manufacturer OPPO has recently unveiled its new mid-range smartphone - OPPO A1s. This gadget features a diamond structure against drops and an impressive RAM capacity of 12GB. OPPO A1s is the successor to the OPPO A1 Pro model released in 2022 and offers a number of improvements.

The smartphone has a new textured look and a diamond anti-drop structure that provides all-round protection against drops. The model is available in three colours: purple, black and blue. The device features a 6.1-inch Full HD+ AMOLED screen with 120Hz refresh rate.
The OPPO A1s is powered by a 2.0GHz MediaTek Helio P22 processor and has up to 12GB of RAM, which is expandable up to 24GB via virtual memory. The internal storage is offered in two variants: 256GB and 512GB.
The smartphone has a 13-megapixel main camera and a 2-megapixel secondary camera. There is also an 8-megapixel front camera for selfies and video calls. The OPPO A1s supports stereo surround sound that offers 300% super volume, making it a great choice for watching movies and playing games.
The device is equipped with a 5,000mAh battery that the manufacturer claims to offer "four years of durability" and supports 33W fast charging.
For now, the OPPO A1s is already available for pre-order on JD.com in 256GB and 512GB variants, priced from 2,999 yen (~$450) and 3,499 yen (~$530) respectively. Sales will start on 19 April.
