Tom Hiddleston has shared his vision of Loki's future in the Marvel film universe
The second season finale of "Loki" should have satisfied fans with a logical and fulfilling conclusion, but they are still wondering if they will see their favourite character again, because at Marvel, anything is possible. And as it turns out, even Tom Hiddleston himself doesn't know if he will return as Loki.
Here's What We Know
During a recent appearance on Jimmy Kimmel Live! Hiddleston stated that he doesn't know if he will still get the chance to play Loki. But the actor also emphasised that he is very happy with where Loki's story has led in the series.
"I don't know. I really don't know. I know that we've reached some sort of narrative conclusion with season two, which feels very satisfying to me".
Hiddleston also emphasised that he does not consider Loki a villain, but sees him as a character who has made some interesting, albeit misguided choices in his life journey.
"You know, trying to take over New York and the Avengers having to assemble to stop him, that was a bad day in the office. I'd like to think that 14 years later he's making some slightly more generous, loving and heroic choices."
At this point, a third season of "Loki" seems highly unlikely, but who knows that trickster!
For now, seeing Hiddleston on screen will be the sequel to the spy mini-series The Night Manager. Yesterday, we shared with you the news that the BBC has renewed the show for multiple seasons.
