From MacBook to Mac Pro: in what order and when Apple will introduce new Mac models with M4 processors

A few days ago, Bloomberg's Mark Gurman reported that the first Mac devices with M4 processors will hit the market near the end of the year. Now Mark has shared a more specific roadmap for these Macs.

Here's What We Know

So, Mark Gurman has outlined when and specifically which devices will get M4 chips:

• 14-inch MacBook Pro with M4 processor - end of 2024
• 24-inch iMac with M4 by the end of 2024.
• 14-inch and 16-inch high-end MacBook Pro with M4 Pro/Max chips - late 2024 or early 2025
• Mac mini in M4 and M4 Pro configurations - late 2024 or early 2025
• MacBook Air laptops with 13-inch and 15-inch screens - spring 2025
• Mac Studio with high-performance M4 chip - mid-2025
• Mac Pro with M4 Ultra processor - second half of 2025

Apple will emphasise artificial intelligence capabilities with the release of the M4 chip series.
