Airbus Defence is completing the preparation of the A400M transport aircraft, which will soon be sent to Kazakhstan.

Here's What We Know

The European aircraft manufacturer Airbus has announced that it has already applied the insignia of the Kazakh army, but has not yet specified when the aircraft with the number "21" will be delivered to the country.

The Kazakhstani Air Force will significantly expand its long-range cargo transportation capabilities, as it currently operates 11 C295 aircraft from Airbus Defense, as well as outdated Soviet-made ANs.

In 2021, Kazakhstan ordered two A400M military transport aircraft from the company. In addition, the agreement provides for full maintenance and the establishment of a repair centre in the country to upgrade the C295.
