Motorola Edge 50 Ultra: 144Hz POLED display, Snapdragon 8s Gen 3 chip, IP68 protection, 50MP triple camera, 125W charging and wood back cover
Following the Edge 50 Pro, Motorola has unveiled another model in the series, the Edge 50 Ultra.
Here's What We Know
The gadget is equipped with a 6.7-inch POLED screen with a resolution of 1.5K, refresh rate of 144 Hz and peak brightness of 2500 nits. The display is covered by Corning Gorilla Glass Victus. Thanks to IP68 certification, the smartphone is not afraid of water.
The main camera of the device consists of three sensors at 50 MP + 50 MP + 64 MP: main, super-angle and telephoto lens with 3x optical and 100x digital zoom. The front camera is also 50 MP. The main lens combines pixels into a large 2.4µm ultra pixel to absorb 20 per cent more light for night photography.
The Motorola Edge 50 Ultra is powered by the new Snapdragon 8s Gen 3 processor paired with 12/16GB RAM and 512GB or 1TB storage. The novelty supports Ultra Wideband (UWB) technology, which allows you to find the location of the phone with an accuracy of 10-30 cm.
The gadget is powered by a 4500 mAh battery. The smartphone has 125W fast wired charging and 50W wireless charging. The gadget comes with stereo speakers, Wi-Fi 7 (802.11be), Bluetooth 5.4, USB-C port (USB 3.2 and DisplayPort 1.4). Out of the box, the device runs Android 14 operating system.
Price & When We Can Expect It
Global sales of the Motorola Edge 50 Ultra will begin in the coming weeks. The novelty will hit the market in several colours. One of the versions will come with a back cover made of wood. The smartphone will cost in Europe from 1000 euros. In Ukraine, the novelty will appear in June.
