Amazon Music is joining the competition with Spotify by launching its AI-powered generative playlist feature called Maestro.
Here's What We Know
The innovation is available in beta to select Amazon Music users in the US on iOS and Android devices.
Maestro allows users to provide natural language suggestions to create a variety of playlists.
Amazon Music Unlimited subscribers can now enjoy this feature, and users of the free version can listen to a preview of their playlists before saving them. Amazon also notes that they are taking precautions to ban offensive language and inappropriate prompts.
It should be noted that Spotify recently introduced its own generative feature for Premium members in the UK and Australia.
