Where is the protection? It's gone: in Ghostwire: Tokyo removed Denuvo, which was in the game for almost a year
The mystical action game Ghostwire: Tokyo, a mystical action game about otherworldly forces that have taken over Tokyo, was released on 25 March 2022. At release, the game did not have Denuvo anti-piracy protection, but with the advent of Spider's Thread in the spring of 2023, the game did receive Denuvo, which not all players liked, as this protection sometimes affects game performance. Now the protection is gone again.

The Ghostwire: Tokyo page on SteamDB states that Denuvo anti-piracy protection has been removed from the game.
Bethesda has not commented on the disappearance of Denuvo from the game, but now we know that it lasted for a little less than one year.
