Nothing Ear: improved audio noise cancellation, up to 40.5 hours of battery life and ChatGPT support for $149.
Nothing held an event to announce its new flagship TWS headphones.
Here's What We Know
Despite the fact that this is the third generation of the device, the company decided not to add the number 3 to the name of the novelty and simply called the model Nothing Ear.
The headphones received the same design as the Nothing Ear (2), but the novelty was equipped with 11 mm dynamic drivers with ceramic diaphragm for richer and clearer high frequencies. In addition, the model received two additional vents, which should improve airflow and clarity of sound. Nothing Ear supports LHDC 5.0 and LDAC codecs. The model is also equipped with an improved active noise cancellation system (it's 1.8 times stronger than the Ear (2)). The technology can now automatically check for ambient noise and adjust ANC accordingly.
The model also gets more audio customisation with the Advanced Equalizer option in the Nothing X app. Headphone settings can be shared with friends.
To connect Nothing Ear use Bluetooth 5.3. The novelty supports Google Fast Pair, Microsoft Swift Pair, and ChatGPT integration. The AI voice control can be invoked with a special gesture. The device still installed new microphones with Clear Voice. On a single charge, the headphones will last up to 8.5 hours. A charging case will increase this figure to 40.5 hours. The Nothing Ear can be charged via USB-C or Qi wireless technology (2.5W).
Price & When We Can Expect It
Sales of the Nothing Ear will start on 22 April for €149/$149/£129 (depending on region). The model will be available in two colours: black and white.
