Apple may copy this Samsung Notes feature in iOS 18

Apple is planning to add new features to its Notes app for iOS 18 that resemble the functionality of the Samsung Notes app.

Here's What We Know

According to Apple Insider, one of these innovations is the ability to record audio directly from notes and attach these files to them. This has already become a standard for Samsung Notes users, and now it looks like Apple is adopting this approach. According to the same report, the new audio recording interface will be reminiscent of Apple's Voice Memo app.

According to the same source, iOS 18 Notes will also introduce a feature called Math Notes. This option allows you to insert calculations from a calculator directly into your notes, and also supports the correct display of mathematical notation and even allows you to write and solve mathematical equations, similar to similar features offered by Microsoft OneNote.

iOS 18, along with the Notes app updates, will be available to users later this year, along with the release of the iPhone 16.
