DJI introduces new Power 500 and Power 1000 drone charging stations
DJI is launching new power stations called Power 500 and Power 1000, which are designed to charge drones anytime, anywhere.
Here's What We Know
Power 1000 with a 1024Wh battery capacity, capable of delivering 2200W of power. The Power 500, with a 512Wh battery and 1000W of power, is a more compact and affordable option.
Both models allow for fast charging of drones, providing up to 12 charges for the Power 1000 and about 6 for the Power 500. Additionally, the stations feature a variety of ports, including USB-A, USB-C, SDC, and AC outlets, making them versatile for charging a variety of devices from drones to smartphones and even laptops.
Users can purchase fast charging cables separately. These power stations are available in the US, Europe and Australia.
The company's plans include developing solar panels for the Power 500 and Power 1000, which will expand their functionality and allow them to be charged anywhere, even when there is no access to the power grid.
