Thanks to the excellent sales of Lords of the Fallen (2023), CI Games' revenues increased by 400%
Polish publisher CI Games has published a financial report, from which it became known that, despite a significant drop in stock value, the company is doing well.
Here's What We Know
The report revealed that in the last fiscal year, which ended on 31 March 2024, the revenue of CI Games was $60 million, which is 400% more than in 2022.
This record revenue growth is the highest in the company's history. It is primarily due to the October 2023 release of the action game Lords of the Fallen, which, despite some technical problems, showed good sales results.
As of the end of 2023, Lords of the Fallen sales exceeded 1.3 million copies, and the game was most popular in North America - 45% of buyers are from this region.
CI Games CEO Marek Tymiński said:
Last year was a period of continued growth for us as we focused on the biggest and most expensive game in the company's history: Lords of the Fallen.
With a successful launch and steady sales of our existing back catalogue, it was the best year in terms of revenue for CI Games Group.
9% of the total revenue came from sales of the tactical shooter Sniper Ghost Warrior Contracts 2.
