Sony copies Samsung's soundbar and TV features
For 17 years in a row, Samsung has held the title of the world's largest TV manufacturer and has been a leader in sound panels for the past ten years. Their achievements have attracted the attention of competitors.
Here's What We Know
Sony's newly announced lineup of soundbars and TVs is packed with new features that were previously associated with Samsung products. One of these innovations is Acoustic Centre Sync, which allows you to combine the speakers of your TV and soundbar to create high-quality and powerful sound. This feature seems to be taken from the Q-Symphony technology that Samsung has been implementing in its devices for three years.
The Sony Bravia 2024 sound bars also feature sound field isolation, reminiscent of Samsung's SpaceFit Sound. This enables the audio to automatically adjust to the size of the room, providing a superior sound experience in any room.
Despite Sony's use of its competitor's ideas, Samsung remains the leader in the field. Their sound bars are recognised for their overall quality and feature set. These include wireless synchronisation with the company's TVs and support for wireless Dolby Atmos, making them the most attractive to consumers. They can also be controlled via the SmartThings app on smartphones and tablets.
