Insider: Honor to unveil Magic Flip foldable smartphone after Honor 200 line-up

We have already written several times that Honor is preparing to release a new foldable smartphone Magic Flip (tentative name). There is no exact date of the announcement yet, but one of the Chinese insiders revealed the timing of the presentation.

Here's What We Know

According to the source, the Honor 200 series will be released first, after which Honor will unveil the Magic Flip as well. Though he didn't give exact dates, a recent leak says that the Honor 200 series will debut in June.

Moreover, a previous report said that the Magic Flip will debut by the end of the second quarter of this year. Therefore, it is likely that both the Honor 200 smartphones and the foldable Magic Flip could release in June.

If recent renders are to be believed, the Honor Magic Flip will get a large external display like the Motorola Razr 40 Ultra. It is expected to feature a dual camera, leather back panel and a 4,500 mAh battery.

Apart from this, Honor plans to launch two more foldable smartphones in the second half of the year: the Magic V3 and V Purse 2, which will be the successors to last year's Magic V2 and V Purse foldable phones.
