Xiaomi introduces a new Outdoor Bluetooth Speaker Camp Edition portable speaker with 40 watts of power

Xiaomi has expanded its line of accessories by introducing a new portable speaker called Xiaomi Outdoor Bluetooth Speaker Camp Edition. This model, as the name suggests, is designed for outdoor use, with a rugged design and long battery life.

Here's What We've Seen

The speaker has a rugged rectangular design with a convenient carrying handle. Despite its ruggedness, it maintains a compact size of just 125 x 85 x 146.7mm (L x W x H) and weighs just 1.12kg. The speaker delivers a powerful 40W of sound, thanks to its six drivers. It features two tweeters, two mid-range drivers and two passive radiators, which Xiaomi says provides 360-degree omnidirectional sound reproduction.

Xiaomi has also partnered with Harman AudioEFX to ensure sound clarity and detail, making this speaker ideal for listening to music at home or while relaxing outdoors. The speaker is IP66 certified, which provides protection against dust and water. It uses Bluetooth 5.3 for wireless connectivity and also supports NFC for fast connectivity.

The device also supports LHDC 5.0 codec, which enables high-definition audio transmission over Bluetooth. The speaker also features LED strips at the bottom for night time use. Xiaomi claims that the speaker has an operating time of 14 hours.

The Xiaomi Outdoor Bluetooth Speaker Camp Edition is available in China at a price of 699 yuan (approximately $100). No international release date has been announced yet.
