India has supplied the Philippines with supersonic anti-ship missiles BrahMos, which it developed in cooperation with Russia.

The Philippines became the first customer partner for India to purchase an anti-ship system with the Russian-Indian BrahMos supersonic cruise missiles. The order was placed in January 2022 for the Philippine Marine Corps.
The contract is worth more than $370 million and includes training and related technical support.
The Philippine military wants to deploy three batteries of anti-ship systems in its coastal areas to strengthen its defence in a possible confrontation with China in the South China Sea.

The PJ-10 BrahMos is a supersonic anti-ship missile developed in cooperation between India and Russia. In fact, it is an improved version of the Russian P-800 (Yakhont) missile. The speed of the missile is estimated at Mach 2.5-2.8, and the range is up to 300 km. The missile weighs 3000 kg, and the warhead weighs 450 kg. The development of an aircraft version of the BrahMos-A is also underway.
