Over the weekend, "Rebel Moon - Part Two: The Scargiver" took the top spot on Netflix

The sequel to Zack Snyder's Rebel Moon, like the first instalment, immediately captivated viewers and topped the Netflix ratings after premiering on Friday.

"Rebel Moon - Part Two: The Scargiver" debuted on Netflix on Friday morning and immediately rose to the top of the service's movie ratings. On Sunday's list of Netflix's top 10 films, "The Scargiver" is at number one, beating out projects like "Anna" and "What Jennifer Did."

The entry of the second instalment of "Rebel Moon" into the Netflix top 10 has also brought increased attention to the first instalment of the series, "Rebel Moon - Part One: A Child of Fire". It was released back in December, but it's back in the Netflix top 10 for the first time in months.

It should be noted that "The Scargiver" was greeted much less warmly by critics than it was by Netflix users. Its review rating on Rotten Tomatoes was only 17%, while viewership barely exceeded 50%.
