A new Ashlands biome has been added to the test version of Valheim: the gloomy location will challenge even the most experienced players

The developers of the popular survival simulator Valheim have announced the addition of a new biome Ashlands to the test version of the game, which will be the last before the game is released from Early Access.

In Ashlands players will meet the strongest and most dangerous enemies in the game. This unfriendly location conceals a lot of dangers and secrets, so unprepared players should not go there. Moreover, the developers warn that even for experienced fighters Ashlands may seem too difficult.

In addition to battling enemies, exploring the location and building temporary settlements, players will be able to take part in large-scale sieges.

The Ashlands update is already available on Valheim's test servers.

In addition to adding a new biome, the developers have fixed a number of bugs in the game.

Iron Gate studio has not yet announced the end date of testing the Ashlands update, however, and the date of Valheim's release from Early Access.
