The UK has announced a new military aid package for Ukraine that includes Storm Shadow missiles and Husky protected vehicles

The UK continues to help Ukraine by announcing the new biggest ever military aid package for the Ukrainian Armed Forces.

Here's What We Know

The package is worth £500m (about $617m). It includes:

• 60 gunboats (sea raid ships, hard raid ships and naval weapons)
• Over 1,600 strike and anti-aircraft missiles, plus additional Storm Shadow long range precision missiles.
• Over 400 vehicles (160 Husky protected vehicles, 162 armoured vehicles and 78 all-terrain vehicles)
• Approximately 4 million rounds of small arms ammunition.

Deliveries of weapons should begin shortly. Incidentally, in total, the UK will transfer £3bn (about $3.7bn) worth of arms to Ukraine this financial year.
