Telltale reported a massive increase in scammers trying to deceive people on behalf of the studio

Online fraud has existed since the day the Internet became a mass phenomenon. Over the years, there have been so many methods that one book is hardly enough to describe it all. However, some methods never change, and one of them concerns Telltale.

Here's What We Know

The authors of The Walking Dead and The Wolf Among Us games said that people started reporting strange emails that seemed to come from Telltale itself. Some emails offer vacancies in the studio, others ask to make videos for the company's games, but Telltale said that all such information appears only on the official website of the studio and is not sent out via emails.

So if you get an email from Telltale, it's not from Telltale.
