The thing that Fallout 4 fans have been waiting two years for has happened.

Bethesda has finally released a non-extgen update for the popular post-apocalyptic role-playing game.

Here's What We Know

The patch is primarily aimed at the PlayStation 5 and Xbox Series.

It will add support for increased frame rate, improve resolution, introduce some modern options and, in general, somewhat modernise the technical state of the game. In addition, the developers fixed a number of bugs that remained in Fallout 4.

A similar free patch is also available to PC gamers.

Along with the nekstgen- update, Fallout 4 received full compatibility with the portable console Steam Deck, and also appeared in the Epic Games Store, and in the Game of the Year Edition, which includes all add-ons.

Recall, Fallout 4 was released in 2015 and remains an extremely popular and sought-after game, but in the fan community there are still debates about its plot, individual mechanics and the general concept of the game.

After the release of the TV series of the same name, the popularity of Fallout games has increased manifold.
