Moderna has announced a partnership with OpenAI to integrate artificial intelligence into all areas of its business. The company's employees, from lawyers to researchers to production staff, will be given access to ChatGPT Enterprise.

Moderna's management expects that the introduction of AI will help the company realise its ambitious plan to launch 15 new products in the next five years. The company believes that AI technologies will accelerate the development and production of innovative mRNA-based medicines.

Moderna CEO Stéphane Bancel said that the partnership with OpenAI will be a key factor in the development of business processes of the company, which along with the COVID-19 vaccine is engaged in the production of drugs to treat cancer and fight viral diseases.

According to Bunsel, he has been obsessed with ChatGPT since its release. The director aims to have every Moderna employee use the chatbot at least 20 times a day. The learning AI technology is already being used extensively to select dosages in clinical trials and automate other tasks.

OpenAI CEO Sam Altman said Moderna has become one of the leaders in incorporating AI into corporate processes. Both companies expect their collaboration to speed up the development of new drugs for patients.
