This summer, Marvel fans were supposed to go to the cinema to see Kraven the Hunter, a film about one of the most famous villains Spider-Man has ever met. However, Sony's plans have changed somewhat, and the premiere was postponed to winter 2024.

Here's What We Know

Now the premiere is scheduled for 13 December 2024. Sony is now positioning the film as an R (17+) option for the end of the year to dilute the Christmas holidays.

It is worth noting that this is not the first postponement of Kraven the Hunter. It was originally due to be released on 13 January 2023, then on 6 October 2023, and then on 30 August 2024.

The film will tell the story of the origin of the villain Kraven the Hunter. Aaron Taylor-Johnson will play the lead role, and J.C. Chandor will direct the film. The film is set in the same universe of Tom Holland's Spider-Man, which also features Tom Hardy's Venom and Jared Leto's Morbius.
