Not just accessories and wearable devices: Nothing is preparing the first CMF-branded smartphone

In August last year, Nothing, which is already a fairly young manufacturer, introduced its CMF sub-brand. Right now, its range of products includes only wearable devices and accessories: wireless headphones, smartwatches, straps, chargers, etc. However, CMF seems to be preparing to venture into a new market.

A new smartphone with model number A015 has appeared in the BIS certification database in India. It was initially linked to the upcoming Nothing Phone (3), but usually Nothing smartphones have other numbers, such as A063 for Phone (1) and A065 for Phone (2).

However, BIS specifically mentions it as a CMF product. That is, the CMF sub-brand seems to be entering the smartphone market and preparing its first model.

Since CMF is characterised by affordable prices and is positioned as a budget alternative to Nothing, its first smartphone is likely to be low-priced and priced lower than Nothing devices.
