A leaked promo video of Google's Pixel 8a smartphone has surfaced online, revealing its AI capabilities. The video was published by a well-known insider Onleaks. The novelty is expected to be presented at the annual I/O developer conference on 14 May this year.

Here's What We Know

The promo video shows all the features that will be present in the Google Pixel 8a. Firstly, it will be equipped with a "Best Take" feature that will improve group photos. After taking multiple shots, it will allow users to choose their best face and eliminate any awkward facial expressions.

The Pixel 8a will come with the Circle to Search feature, which requires no introduction. It was announced earlier in January this year for the Galaxy S24 series and later appeared in the Pixel 8 and 7 series. The feature allows users to search for items/items by simply circling them.

According to the promo video, the Pixel 8a will have "Live Translate" which will translate voice calls and more in real-time. The smartphone will have another camera-related feature called "Audio Magic Eraser". It will remove any unnecessary background noise from videos. The leak also confirms black and blue colour variants of the device.

It was recently revealed that the Pixel 8a will cost 18 per cent more than its predecessor, starting at CAD $708.99 for the 128GB base variant, while the 256GB version will cost CAD $792.99.
