Circle to Search will appear in split-screen mode on Pixel devices

Google is preparing to update the Pixel Launcher to allow users to use Circle to Search in split-screen mode on Pixel devices.

The feature, which allows users to quickly find information on the web by simply tapping and drawing a ring over text or images, will be available in a more user-friendly format.

Currently, Circle to Search only works on full-screen apps on Pixel devices, but with the Pixel Launcher update, it will be available in split-screen mode. This will allow users to make more efficient use of their devices by viewing two apps at the same time and quickly finding the information they need with Circle to Search.

The Pixel Launcher update that includes this new feature is currently in testing, but is expected to be available to all Pixel users soon. Google is also considering fixing the limitations that have prevented Circle to Search from working in split-screen mode on Pixel devices.

However, users are already able to use Circle to Search in split-screen mode on some Samsung Galaxy devices. This shows that this feature is technically possible and can be implemented on a variety of devices.
