Promos confirm: the Google Pixel 8a will get 7 years of updates like the Pixel 8 and Pixel 8 Pro
Following the leaked promo video, sources have published Google Pixel 8a promotional posters that reveal even more details about the upcoming smartphone.
Here's What We Know
The promos confirm that the Pixel 8a will get a proprietary Tensor G3 processor and an artificial intelligence camera. It has features like Best Take, Audio Magic Eraser and Night Sight which are AI-powered.
Apart from this, Google claims features like fast charging, IP67 water and dust protection and all-day autonomy without the need to recharge.
In addition to this, it is confirmed that Google Pixel 8a will receive updates for 7 years. The exact same support Google guarantees for the Pixel 8 and Pixel 8 Pro flagships.
According to early leaks, the Pixel 8a will also get a 6.1-inch OLED display with a 90Hz refresh rate, 8GB of RAM, 128GB of internal storage, a 64 MP main camera, a 13 MP ultra-wide-angle camera, and 27W wired charging support.
The smartphone is expected to debut on 14 May at Google I/O and go on sale on 16 May.
