The new Huawei Watch Fit 3 is expected to get a major interface update with a new OS
In anticipation after the Spring Festival 2024, Huawei is preparing to release its new Watch Fit 3 smart watch. According to leaks, the novelty will receive significant changes in both design and software.
Here's What We Know
Judging by a leak from Chinese insider Fixed Focus Digital, the watch will feature a 2.5D rectangular screen and a rumoured "flagship crown" on the left side. Renderings of the smartwatch that surfaced this week show a completely different design from its predecessor and strongly resembles the Apple Watch.
Apart from the exterior design update, a major change in the user interface is expected. The watch is expected to get major UI modifications based on the latest version of HarmonyOS for wearable devices. It is possible that the Watch Fit 3 will come pre-installed with HarmonyOS 4.2 or even the upcoming HarmonyOS NEXT.
The updated interface may include smoother animations, more space for app icons, larger fonts and a wider selection of watch faces. However, official confirmation of these changes is yet to come.
There is a possibility that the Watch Fit 3 will be launched in the domestic Chinese market as well as internationally. Details about key specifications, price and internal features are not yet known. We can expect more details and leaks about the Huawei Watch Fit 3 over time.
