OnePlus has released an update for the Nord 3 smartphone, which brings a fresh security patch as well as a few changes to OxygenOS.

Here's What We Know

The update has been released for India and the global market with firmware versions CPH2491_14.0.0.0.510(EX01) and CPH2493_14.0.0.0.510(EX01) respectively. The new firmware comes with a fresh security patch for April 2024 and also brings several new features to the system:

  • Added "Partial Screenshot" option on the smart sidebar.
  • You can now create photo collages without frames in the Photos app.
  • You can now press and hold the volume down button to turn on the torch when the screen is off.
  • Enhanced app search on the taskbar, where users can search for apps by typing the first letter of the app name.
  • You can now adjust the volume for individual apps to suit your needs.
  • Improved volume slider design for ease of use and visual consistency.
  • Improved system stability.

For now, the update rollout is limited to a small percentage of users, but a wider rollout will begin in a few days.
