OnePlus 10T gets a new OxygenOS update with many system improvements

OnePlus 10T is starting to receive a new software update that brings changes such as Partial Screenshot, enabling torch with the volume button, the ability to unlock the smartphone without turning on the screen and more.

Here's What We Know

OnePlus has started rolling out the new firmware on the 10T for the European and global market, with firmware number CPH2415_14.0.0.0.701(EX01) and also for India, with firmware CPH2413_14.0.0.0.700(EX01). The update includes many changes such as:

  • Added "Partial Screenshot" option on the smart sidebar.
  • In the Photos app, you can now create photo collages without frames.
  • You can now press and hold the volume down button to switch on the torch when the screen is off.
  • It is now possible to adjust the volume for individual apps according to the user's needs.
  • Implemented search by the first letter of the app name to search the list of apps on the taskbar.
  • It is now possible to use fingerprint unlock without taking the screen out of sleep mode.
  • Improved system stability and performance.
  • Vulnerability fixes with a new security patch dated April 2024.

The update is available to a small number of users right now, but it will roll out more widely in a few days.
