Now, when you open Google Pay on your Android device, a new shortcut will appear at the bottom of the screen that says "Open Wallet". Previously, this screen only showed a credit or debit card along with the Google Pay logo. However, the new shortcut will allow users to quickly view a summary of their past transactions and their locations.

This innovation increases the usability of Google Pay by providing more options for quick access to important information. This brings Google Pay closer to competitors, including Apple Pay, which also offers quick access to cards and transaction history.
