We wrote that the sports drama Challengers, starring Zendaya, grossed $6.2 million on its opening day in the US. Now it has become known how much the film has earned in the 3 days since its release not only in the US but also in the rest of the world.

Here's What We Know

The film took first place in terms of the amount of money earned in cinemas over the weekend. In the US, the R-rated story about tennis players has already grossed $15 million. Outside of the US, the film brought in $10 million, so we have a total of $25 million in earnings.

The film's production budget is estimated at $55 million (excluding marketing), but The Rivals has not yet been released in all countries, so we need to wait a little longer for the film to accelerate to the maximum and then see if it will be able to make a profit.

However, Amazon MGM expects the film to be successful on Prime Video when it is released there. The company also noted that revenues from cinemas, in fact, help to offset marketing costs.
