New trial program of SpaceX: Starlink for $1

SpaceX has presented the launch of a new trial programme for its Starlink service, which allows customers to get hardware for just USD 1. Usually, the company charges USD 599 for a new set, but because of this trial offer, customers can pay only a symbolic amount initially.

As part of this programme, customers will have to pay a service fee of USD 120 per month, but this payment will be refunded if the user decides to return the dish during the trial period. It is also worth noting that the full cost of the hardware will be charged only 30 days after the first activation of the Starlink dish.

This initiative by SpaceX aims to attract more customers by providing them with more time to try the service before purchasing. The programme is available for new users in some US states, as well as in Australia and New Zealand.

However, SpaceX has also announced that it is restricting access to Starlink for users outside of the coverage area.
