Google Contacts update makes it easier to create new records
Google is preparing an update for Contacts that will change the design of the Create Contact page.
Here's What We Know
The new design will simplify the process of creating new contacts by displaying the most important fields first, such as name, company, and phone number, before showing additional options.
The main change is that all "additional fields" for a contact will be placed in a new submenu. This will allow users to create records faster, select the necessary fields and not overload the interface with unnecessary information.
In particular, the update planned for version 4.30 of Google Contacts will redesign the user experience on the Create page. According to the new changes, the fields for first name, last name, company, and phone number will be displayed directly below the "Add image" option. Unnecessary information will be separated in the form of tablets, which will make it faster and more convenient to add additional data.
In addition, this change also puts an emphasis on the Notes field, increasing its size to provide more space for additional information.
