Bethesda CEO Todd Howard took part in the Kinda Funny Games podcast, where he talked about what fans of the space RPG Starfield have long been interested in.

Here's What We Know

Todd Howard said that the first story expansion for Starfield called Shattered Space will be released in autumn 2024.

He didn't reveal more details about the expansion, but he emphasised that a free major expansion for Starfield will be released soon, in which the developers will make important improvements. For example, the system of building spaceships will change, and gamers will have a detailed map of all major cities and settlements.

Recall that the lack of a map has angered many players, because it is extremely difficult to navigate in multi-storeyed and rather monotonous settlements. In addition, in a game of this level and scale map should be initially.

Starfield is available on Xbox Series X/S and PC.
