Ukrainian government allocates additional UAH 15 billion for the purchase of drones

The Cabinet of Ministers of Ukraine has allocated an additional UAH 15 billion to the UAH 43.3 billion allocated for drones this year.

According to him, the funds will go to the State Special Communications Service administration, which is in charge of the relevant procurement.

"With the money allocated today, 300,000 drones will be delivered to our Security and Defence Forces. This is an additional resource to the UAH 43.3 billion we have already allocated for drones this year," Shmyhal added.

It is worth noting that by 2024, Ukraine has planned to manufacture and send one million UAVs to the frontline, as well as create an international coalition of drones.
