Samsung Galaxy F55 has appeared in Geekbench with key specs
While waiting for the official announcement of the Samsung Galaxy F55, details about the new smartphone have surfaced online. Judging by renders from well-known insider @evleaks, it will be a renamed Galaxy C55, which was recently announced in China, which according to specifications is a copy of the Galaxy M55, released earlier in the global market.
Here's What We Know
According to leaks, the device will get a Snapdragon 7 Gen 1 processor and 8GB of RAM. The operating system is Android 14. In Geekbench benchmarks, the smartphone scored 843 and 2307 points in single-core and multi-core modes respectively. The results are not high for this chip, but it is possible that the device could be running a pre-release version of the firmware and the retail version could show better performance results.
According to leaks, the Galaxy F55 will feature a triple camera, an eco-leather body and will be available in at least two colours including orange.
Since the Galaxy F55 is essentially a renamed Galaxy C55, it will likely get a 6.7-inch AMOLED screen with FullHD+ resolution and 120Hz refresh rate, a 5,000mAh battery with 45W charging support, and an in-screen fingerprint scanner. The main camera will have a 50MP resolution, as will the front camera, which will also get a 50MP sensor.
The Samsung Galaxy F55 is expected to be announced this month, in India.
