Global release of Huawei Pura 70 smartphones confirmed
Huawei recently announced its new flagship Pura 70 series of smartphones in China. Now it has been revealed that these devices will soon be available in the global market as well.
Here's What We Know
The Huawei Pura 70 and Pura 70 Pro smartphones have been spotted on the SIRIM website in Malaysia with model numbers ADY-LX9 and HBN-LX9 respectively. This confirms that global models already exist.
However, no trace of the Huawei Pura 70 Pro+ and Pura 70 Ultra models, which are the two most powerful variants announced by the company, have been found so far. These models are also expected to make an appearance in the global market, at least the Ultra model. All four smartphones are powered by Kirin processors, but use different models. The Huawei Pura 70 is powered by Kirin 9000S1, while the other three models use the new 7nm Kirin 9010 processor.
The most interesting phone in the series is the Huawei Pura 70 Ultra. It is equipped with a top-of-the-line camera. This is the first time Huawei has used a 1-inch sensor as well as sensor shift OIS, not to mention variable aperture. The camera sensor is also retractable, which also plays a role in photography.
When these devices arrive in markets outside of China, they will be installed without Google's services due to a ban in the US. Huawei's own services will be installed instead.
