May the force be with Fortnite: on May 3, the game will host a large-scale collaboration with Star Wars
In early May, on the 4th of May, Star Wars Day is celebrated. What does this mean? That's right, it's time for a new Fortnite collaboration.
Here's What We Know
Star Wars will be included in all possible Fortnite modes: LEGO Fortnite, Battle Royale, Fortnite Festival, and Rocket Racing.
For example, in LEGO Fortnite, players will be able to unlock Star Wars-themed buildings and decor. In Battle Royale, fight enemies with a Wookiee crossbow. Also, have fun in the stylised Mos Eisley Cantina at the Fortnite Festival and themed cars in Rocket Racing.
There will be a separate LEGO Fortnite Pass for LEGO Fortnite: Rebel Adventure. In it, players will be able to unlock Star Wars buildings and decor, as well as Chewbacca's costume and more.
Let's return to Battle Royale. In this mode, you can save Chewbacca. To rescue him from the clutches of the Empire, you need to go to a certain imperial checkpoint. The checkpoint he is at changes every game. Chewbacca will be happy to be released and then follow you into battle.
And after his release, he will also give you his crossbow or you will find it in the Imperial chests at the Imperial checkpoints around the island.
In addition to Chewbacca, the legendary Darth Vader will also be on the map. Defeat him and get his lightsaber.
There will also be themed quests. If you complete them, you will receive various items. The event will last from 3 to 14 May.
New characters will also appear in the shop. So far, we know about three of them: Luke from Dagobah, Lando Calrissian, and AWR trooper. Choose between a Jedi apprentice, a chatty smuggler, and one of the most secretive soldiers in the Empire. The costumes are available in two variations: for LEGO Fortnite and for Battle Royale.
When We Can Expect It
The Star Wars collaboration in Fortnite will start on May 3.
