Boeing has won a bid to supply MH-139A Gray Wolf helicopters to the US Army.

The information was shared by the Shephard edition. The contract is designed for $178 million. It will include the supply of the Air Force seven MH-139A Gray Wolf helicopters, although the U.S. Army plans to purchase a total of 26 aircraft. The new helicopters will replace a fleet of older UH-1N Twin Huey helicopters that have been in service for more than 50 years.

The MH-139A Gray Wolf is a modified version of the Airbus H145 helicopter. The Gray Wolf is designed to perform a wide range of missions, including personnel transport, medical evacuation, and nuclear facility security.
