The US will buy Bradley infantry fighting vehicles in a new M2A4E1 variant with improved control and defence systems
The US Army has revealed a new modification of the Bradley infantry fighting vehicle.

The information appeared on the PEO Ground Combat Systems Facebook page. The modernised version of the Bradley was named M2A4E1. The BMP was demonstrated in the town of Saco, Maine. During the presentation, the US Department of Defence said that it plans to purchase such vehicles. Funds have already been allocated for them. By the way, the new BMPs will replace those that were sent to Ukraine as part of military aid.
The M2A4E1 version of the Bradley infantry fighting vehicle boasts an improved control system and armour. The BMP received modern thermal imaging devices and Iron Fist active defence, which is capable of intercepting various anti-tank missiles.
